Fort Harms is a USMC Veteran Owned Small Business that prides itself in preparing law abiding citizens for the uncertainties that life is fraught with.
Our instructors are Veterans of both the military and law enforcement, with years of real-world experience working as professional firearms instructors for State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies as well as the military. While we have a great deal of experience training police officers and service members, we understand that many clients are weary of those “boot camp” type instructors. Our primary focus is the safety of our clients and creating a positive learning environment. We’ve had students as young as 5 years old to 87 years old. We keep our class sizes small, focusing on the student/instructor relationship to ensure that objectives are met and concepts understood. We provide firearms training and education of all levels, San Diego County CCW certification, Active Threat First Aid, and emergency preparedness education.
Being prepared for life’s uncertainties does not always mean using a firearm. A firearm can only solve a limited number of problems, but for those situations it is the only solution. When seconds count the First Responders are only minutes away, so as prepared citizens, and protectors of our families we need to have the skills, ability, and tools to buy that time for the First Responders to get there. If you’re going to learn how to make bullet holes you should be able to patch them up as well. Basic first aid skills can be applied to all walks of life.
If you notice our course schedule page does not have many dates listed, that is because we focus on custom training solutions for families, couples, small groups, and individuals. Whether you’re a seasoned officer looking to improve your qualification scores, a CCW holder looking to renew for the 7th time, a concerned parent wanting to ensure their children have quality firearms safety and marksmanship training, or a new firearm owner wanting to build a skillset, we have a training solution to meet your specific needs.
